1. Server Prerequisites

Before you begin, ensure your hosting server meets the following requirements. ReviewBooster is built on Laravel 12 and requires a modern PHP environment.

• PHP >= 8.2 (PHP 8.5 recommended)
• MySQL 8.0+ or MariaDB 10.3+
• Apache or Nginx Web Server
• PHP Extensions: BCMath, Ctype, Fileinfo, JSON, Mbstring, OpenSSL, PDO, Tokenizer, XML, cURL.
• Composer (For manual installations)

2. Installation (Web Wizard)

ReviewBooster comes with a built-in GUI installation wizard. It takes less than 2 minutes to install.

1. Upload the ReviewBooster_Final_PROD.zip file to your server (e.g., cPanel File Manager).
2. Extract the zip file to your public HTML directory.
3. Ensure the storage and bootstrap/cache directories have 775 permissions.
4. Navigate to your domain in the browser (e.g., https://yourdomain.com). You will be automatically redirected to the installation wizard.
5. Follow the on-screen steps to verify your CodeCanyon Purchase Code, enter database credentials, and create your Super Admin account.

3. Cron Job Setup (Required)

To ensure subscriptions, plan expirations, and email queues run automatically, you must configure a cron job on your server.

Add the following line to your server's crontab:

Replace /path-to-your-project with the absolute path to your ReviewBooster installation.

4. Configuring AI Integration

ReviewBooster supports OpenAI, Gemini, DeepSeek, and Grok out of the box. No coding required.

1. Login to the Super Admin panel.
2. Navigate to System Settings.
3. Scroll down to the AI Configuration section.
4. Toggle the switch for your preferred provider and paste the API Key.
5. Click Save. The system will automatically use the enabled API to generate reviews for your customers!
